First, we will send you an introductory email asking you to share some information so we can get started. If you happen to have a recent resume, that is very helpful as a jumping-off point. We also request you share specifics about the job (or type of job) you are applying for.
Next, we will set up a 1:1 meeting with you to inquire about the details. Typically we have this discussion via Zoom which has allowed us to help clients well over 1000 miles away! During this meeting, we will fill in any gaps that weren't provided in our initial request. Specific questions about the roles you held in previous jobs and how your skills are aligned for the position you are desiring will be asked. We want to learn about your achievements and successes so we can highlight them in detail on your resume!
Revision Resume will create a carefully crafted document - unique to you - that showcases your relevant job experience and skills to match the job opportunity you seek within 5 business days of our 1:1 meeting. Keywords will be intentionally embedded within the document to help Applicant Tracking Systems find your resume amongst all of the other applicants.
The document Revision Resume provides will be crisp, concise and professionally formatted. It will be free from typographical errors. You will be provided a PDF version and a text-only version allowing you to submit the resume through multiple methods.
What if I find changes to request after you provided the finished document?
No problem! We ask you notify us within 5 business days of receiving the finished document and we will be happy to make edits to meet your requests.
How will all of the private information I provide Revision Resume be handled?
Revision Resume will not release any of your information to any third parties or outside entities. Information provided by you will be kept 100% confidential and will only be used by our two writers to create outstanding career building documents.
